Question.Marketing is a UK answer engine optimisation (AEO) and generative engine optimisation (GEO) consultancy based in Doncaster, South Yorkshire. We get businesses named inside the answers that ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Google AI Mode, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity and Copilot give, and we measure it against a defined set of prompts.
What does Question.Marketing do?
We build knowledge assets: pages that answer the questions your buyers actually ask, structured, dated and citable, so the answer engines quote you rather than a competitor. AEO is the marketing for the AI search world. GEO is the mechanics underneath it. We do both, in that order.
We also run a separate AI implementation service for South Yorkshire businesses, putting AI to work inside the business, on site.

How do we measure it?
Visibility in AI answers varies by question, platform and run, so we never claim a fixed rank. We run repeated prompts, around 1,500 sampled answers per source per cycle, and publish the margin of error. A single check on its own can swing by 9 to 13 points, which is why we don't sell one.
Is AEO right for every business?
No. AI referrals are still around 1% of total web traffic. It is a fast-growing channel, not a replacement for everything you already do. If your buyers are not asking AI assistants for recommendations in your category yet, we will tell you.
