How Do You Structure a YouTube Ad?
A well-structured YouTube ad opens with a hook that keeps people watching, educates the audience about the product or service without giving everything away, and repeats calls to action throughout the ad rather than saving the only one for the end.

What does this video cover?
- 01Start with a hook that entices the audience to keep watching, since they are probably already in the market to buy a product like yours.
- 02Educate the audience with enough information to make them want more, especially for a service, but do not explain everything, keep a little back so they still need you once they click through.
- 03Calls to action are the most important thing, and quite a lot of people miss this: include them throughout the ad, not just at the end, because if the advert runs two, three or four minutes, nobody sees a call to action until it is nearly over.
- 04This is a brief overview covering just a couple of things to include, not the full in-depth version.

Hi, it is Katie from s.media, and today I wanted to talk about how to structure a YouTube ad, whether you have been advertising on YouTube a while and are not getting conversions, or you are just starting out and are not sure how to structure an ad. This is only going to be a short video, not an in-depth one on everything you need to do, so please get in touch if you need any more help.
Firstly, include a hook: you want to entice your audience in and make them want to carry on watching to find out about your product, keeping in mind they are probably already in the market to buy something like it. Next, educate your audience, giving them enough information to want more of your product or service, and especially for a service, explain what you do and offer without explaining everything, so that when they click through to your website they understand you but still need you to actually help them. The third, and I think the most important thing, which quite a lot of people miss, is calls to action: make sure you do not just include one at the end, because if your advert is two, three or four minutes long, nobody has seen the call to action until the end. Include calls to action throughout to push the audience watching towards whatever you want them to do, whether that is booking a call or buying now. If you want to know more about what to include in your YouTube ad, please get in touch and I would be happy to help.
