Hello again, it is Florence from s.media, and I want to talk to you about YouTube adverts and how long they should be.

Your YouTube advert needs to be long enough to feature things like a hook and a few calls to action. A call to action is something that takes your viewer to your website, or somewhere to subscribe to you, or even social links to platforms like Facebook and Instagram so they can follow you there. It also needs to be long enough to educate the viewer on your product or service and on your brand in general, so it needs to have all the information in there.

The minimum time your video should be is around 12 seconds. Anything shorter than that and it is just pointless having an advert. The maximum length your advert should be is around two and a half minutes to three minutes. Anything longer and people will probably click off. Any time in between there is the perfect length for your YouTube adverts.
