There is no single price for a YouTube ad campaign, but there are three costs to budget for: creative production, agency management, and media spend, which we would always recommend starting at a minimum of 50 pounds per day.

Hi everyone. We are a dedicated YouTube advertising agency.
When I talk to people about YouTube advertising, the first question I get asked is what is it really going to cost me. I get that. We are all splitting our budgets in different ways and looking for maximum performance. So what costs do you need to consider when you are thinking about putting together a YouTube ad campaign?
The first thing you need to think about is how much you are going to allocate towards creative production. It may be that within your business you have got loads of amazing videos already available, which means you can completely cancel out that cost, because there may be something you can already use and trial on YouTube. The cost to try a campaign suddenly comes down.
The second cost you need to consider is your agency management fee. That completely varies depending on how many campaigns are running, how much work there is, what we are needed for as an agency, and what we need to resource in-house to support you and get your campaigns working as they should.
The third cost you need to consider is media spend, and we would always recommend a budget that is at a minimum of 50 pounds per day. What you will get for that is results, but what you will also be able to do with 50 pounds per day is buy far more than what you are currently doing on PPC and on the likes of Facebook. The cost of Facebook ads has gone up dramatically in the past few years, and in terms of PPC everyone is fighting for that position on page one of Google. Does the consumer really care if you come up in the first ten results any more? I do not think so.
To summarise, how much is it going to cost you to do a YouTube ad campaign? I cannot give you those exact costs, but I can say you have got your cost to produce the creative, you have got your cost to have your agency manage it, and then you have the cost of your media spend. You can of course do the management in-house and save costs, but you need to make sure you have got the right level of expertise to target these ad campaigns correctly.
If you have any more questions, I know I have a lot of connections far and wide across all different industries. Some key search terms and areas are much more competitive than others, but what we find is that YouTube is a lot more cost effective than other online advertising routes. I did not know what I was saying then, but anyway. Have you ever done this? It can be quite hard. With the right team you can do it too. That is it, I am rambling, so I am going to go. See you later.
