Hi guys, it is Katie from s.media, and today I wanted to talk about video in search. Are you trying to get your videos into Google search or not, because if you are not, you need to be speaking to your SEO team or SEO agency. Google is actually preferencing YouTube videos over any other sort of video, be that Facebook, Twitter, or any other type, so you need to be trying to get your YouTube videos into search.
Google is trying to keep up with consumer behaviour, in that everyone wants to watch video because it is more accessible and easier to consume, and Google wants to stay ahead of that trend, meaning it will preference YouTube videos over any other type of video, and over text.
